Vakgroep Menselijke fysiologie (MFYS)

BruBotics is a joint initiative of 7 research groups of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) sharing a common vision: improving our quality of life through Human- Centered Robotics. By combining expertise in engineer- ing, life, computer and social sciences on the topic of Human Robotics, BruBotics enables cross-boundary and cross-industry innovation and collaboration, and aims to become one of the top European influencers in the Human Robotics ecosystem.

Kristel KNAEPEN received her degree of Doctor in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy - 2015. Her PhD is entitled as 'Human-Robot Interaction in Rehabilitation and Assistance of Locomotion' . She performed a Study on the Assessment and Effects of Robotic Lower Limb Assistance on Biomechanical and (Electro)Physiological Parameters.
