Ben Rattray is an Associate Professor in Exercise Physiology at the University of Canberra (UC) working with the UC Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UC-RISE).

Ben’s research concentrates on understanding the links between exercise and the brain, including the role of exercise in improving cognitive abilities, and the cerebrovascular response in both acute and chronic settings. This work is applied in a range of contexts including military, occupational, health and high performance sport settings. Ben now heads a small research group, the Active Brain Research (Twitter) at UC.
