Dominic Micklewright is a Professor of Sport Psychology at the University of Essex in the UK. His research focuses on perceptual and decision-making processes associated with fatigue and performance among endurance athletes. He was the founder and former head of the Sport, Performance and Fatigue Research Unit at the University of Essex and a former Chair of the Division of Sport & Performance at the British Association of Sport & Exercise Science. Currently, Dominic is the Dean of Partnerships at the University of Essex where he has strategic oversight of the University's domestic and international collaborative partners. He is a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society and a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and the British Association of Sports and Exercise Sciences.
