Jo Ghillebert
Jo Ghillebert is PhD student at the department Human Physiology, Faculty LK of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
My research topic is about the clinical evaluation of a new generation ortho-prosthesis, which is situated in the field of Human-centered Robotics and funded by the European H2020 project Cyberlegs Plus Plus (http://www.cyberlegs.eu/). This study is in continuation of the FP7-ICT project, involving research groups from Italy and Slovenia. Mechanical engineers from the VUB (Joost Geeroms and Louis Flynn, dep. MECH) are producing a transfemoral prosthesis that will be evaluated during daily tasks by our department (MFYS). Participants also will perform a training period to list the adaptations.
